Blue and White Stamp

Polishes Used:
Whirlwind White- Sally Hansen
Blue It- Sally Hansen

Stamp Used:
Bundle Monster plate #213

The "Blue It" is a pretty decent stamping polish. It came off the stamper perfectly, but it got a little "draggy" in the top coat.

Moon Over Mumbai- OPI

It might be way too boring for some, but this is my #1 all time favourite nail polish. (I love my light colours!) Going to need to purchase a replacement bottle soon since this one is almost empty...

OPI's Spring and Summer Collection: Holland

OPI's latest collection was released last month. I find the selection is not quite as colourful as their summer collections usually are, but of course there are one or two I can't wait to get my hands on. (Notably: Did You 'ear About Van Gogh? and I Have a Herring Problem.) Swatches below.

Shades:
I Don't Give a Rotterdam!
Gouda Gouda Two Shoes
I Have a Herring Problem
Wooden Show Like to Know?
A Roll in the Hague
Red Lights Ahead...Where?
Kiss Me on My Tulips
Pedal For Suzi!
Dutch 'Ya Just Love OPI?
Vampsterdam
Did You 'ear About Van Gogh?
Thanks a WindMillion

You can virtually try on the polishes on OPI's website here.

Leopard Print Mani- Pink and Grey

Polishes Used:
Wet Cement- Sally Hansen
Fuchsia Power- Sally Hansen
Black Out- Sally Hansen

This is one of the easiest manicure I've ever done. Even my right hand looks great!

How To:
1. Pain your base colour and allow to dry.
2. Dull the tip of a tooth pick by tapping it down a few times and make funny splotches with you second colour.

3. Partially contour the edges of your blotches. (Black polich looks best on the ones I have seen.)
4. Top coat!

I decided to try matting this mani a day later, and was pretty pleased with how it came out!

Woo hoo! First Haul Post!

So my order came in today from Nail Polish Canada. I finally got myself some real stamping polish, I think it is going to make my life much easier. But of course I couldn't stop there so I picked up a few more things I had been eyeing, including Essie's "Matt About You" and the Holy Grail of top coats "Seche Vite. (I've been using Duri's "Brush'N Go" which is easier to find where I live, and it's a pretty good dupe for Seche Vite if you can't find it.)

I had a really great experience with Nail Polish Canada. I phoned in with a question about my order and they called me back promptly on a Sunday. They have TONS of selection and I will be buying from them again!!

Sage Mani

Polishes Used:
Sage- Love & Beauty

Love & Beauty is the brand that Forever 21 has been selling, so I picked up a bottle to give it a try. (Plus they sell for $3.80 so whats the downside?!) My thoughts: not terrible, not amazing. The application was great, but I found it a little "see through". I would buy the brand again but choose a colour without shimmer, as it's usually the shimmer that makes polishes thinner than others.

Purchase them on-line here!
