Delicate Green Mani

Polishes used:
Posh- Revlon
White- Art Deco

Posh was one of the bottles I purchased ages ago and never got around to wearing. (When I am being super indecisive about what colour to try on my hubby picks a random bottle for me, and this was one of those instances. lol)

Here is Posh on its own. Loved the polish alone as well. Green is just really neglected isn't it?

And after the details were added:

I am also submitting this manicure to Nailed It's Two Bottle Challenge. For her one year blogiversary she is holding a nail art competition that requires you to only use two bottles or polish. Check it out!

Hmm....Not Impressed.

So I bought a few things from Born Pretty in July, and they JUST got here last week. I asked several times for my money back and they kept asking me to wait, shipping was slow due to the Olympics, (which ended months ago). But really, three MONTHS for shipping?!

Needless to say I was very relieved and excited to get my order. I decided to try the yellow stamping polish I had purchased from them. Here are the results:

What the heck is that?! I expected a super opaque formula like with Konad, this was nothing like it. In fact I have regular polishes that do a better job than this.

I emailed them describing all the problems I had and they had the decency to apologize (and bring up the damn Olympics for the 6th time...) but I really don't know if I would order from them again. Certainly not what they deem to be "stamping" polish.

Sweet As Annie-thing

Polishes used:
Sweet As Annie-thing- OPI

Here is a real rarity on Polish Crazed, red nail polish! I find it funny that I have upwards of 100 bottles of nail polish and only 2 reds. Recently bought this one from a blog sale and I really like it.

Banana Bandana

Polishes used:
Banana Bandana- OPI

I have had my eye out for a pastel yellow for a few months after seeing a beautiful shade from a company that sadly doesn't ship to Canada. Lucky for me, I found pretty much the exact same shade from OPI. I adore it, despite needing three coats to be absolutely opaque.

Blossom Manicure

Polishes used:
I Vant To Be A-Lone Star- OPI
Charmed By A Snake- OPI
Bubblegum Pink- Sally Hansen
Black- Konad

So sadly this was left over from the 31 Day Challenge that I recently participated in. I had done the manicure, but never had the time to post it! Anyhoo, branches are done with a long wispy art brush and the flowers are done with a dulled tooth pick. : )

Topless and Barefoot- Essie

Polishes used:
Topless and Barefoot- Essie

An oldie but a goodie. I am trying to grow my nails out a bit longer than normal and so far have been pretty successful. I switched from Essie Ridge Filler base coat to an Essie strengthening base coat and had way less peeling. Recent jobs have been keeping me from having anything really funky on my nails so I've been keeping it classic with neutrals.
